Is it safe?
Everyone registering as a volunteer with Brio Leisure through Team Up will have a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check carried out. An additional face to face induction session will also be provided by a member of the Brio Leisure team that will provide essential information and guidance on staying safe online and in the community. A small device will also be provided by Brio Leisure for use during the tasks, to help ensure you are accessible in the event of an emergency.
If you are registering for support from Brio Leisure through Team Up, then you will not be DBS checked but will need to speak to a member staff before you are approved to use the service. During this conversation you will be provided with more information on the service, have your needs further understood and be provided with information on how to remain safe online and in the community.
